What does SGW do?
The Security Gateway controls access to protected vehicle diagnostic functions. Authorised unlocking allows access to functions supported by the specific vehicle and diagnostic device.
Coverage and compatibility
Provide the diagnostic device model and serial number, together with the vehicle model, model year or VIN. Compatibility is checked for the specific device, software and vehicle combination. Not every Renault model or function is automatically covered.
How are tokens used?
This offer includes 20 tokens. Consumption rules, repeat access to the same vehicle and any expiry period are confirmed for the specific activation. Token quantity should not automatically be interpreted as the number of diagnostic operations.
Ordering and activation

- Provide the device model and serial number for compatibility checking.
- After verification, follow the supplied activation instructions.
- When working on a vehicle, follow the messages and terms displayed on the device.
